Dallarnil State School is located in the rural shire in the Biggenden district with North Burnett Regional Council. The School has been established over 110 years and serves an established rural community whose main interests are dairying and beef cattle. The township of Dallarnil consists of a small number of residential blocks, with the majority of students coming from properties in the nearby area.
Newer families have moved back into Dallarnil onto family farms and some are seeking employment in the local area. The nearest town is Biggenden, which is approximately 16 km from the school. Childers and Bundaberg are within an hours drive.
The school has a long and proud history having been opened in our year of Federation, 1901. Dallarnil State School celebrated its Centenary in May 2001. Dallarnil State School cooperates in sporting, curriculum and cultural activities with Coalstoun Lakes State School, Biggenden State School and Isis District State High School. Over the past few years there has been growth in the number of students attending the school. In the year 2015, Dallarnil State School currently has an enrolment of 32 students including 5 Preps.
